We love trees! they give us air, shade, building materials, paper, warmth in winter with firewood. Trees can even be used in medicine!

We planted a range of plants. Kowhai, Kanuka, Akeake and a range of coastal tussocks and grasses.
We learnt how to plant a tree correctly.
We worked well as a team and did a superb job!

I love all those smiling faces who are getting dirty grubbing through the earth. Trees, trees, and more trees.... Remember, they will be there in 50 years when you guys go back to check them out after you have been to check out the world!
