MUD FLAT FUN!

We went to the Sandflats with Room 3 and we saw loads of crabs, Chitons, Seaweed, Shellfish, strange shells and we even found a baby eel!! check out our cool Photos!

ROCK STAR VISITOR!

On Friday, we had a special visitor come to perform at our junior assembly.
Bryce Wastney! He is a local singer, songwriter and is Deb's big brother!
We had a great time singing along with him and we really love his music!

We were lucky enough to have 2 wonderful parents come in and work with us to make our very own Happy Cake!

WORD MAGIC!

We have been thinking creatively about fun ways to learn our spelling words!
Today we used paint brushes and water to write our words on the concrete!

Some other creative ideas were........ bend pipe cleaners into letter shapes to spell! ,  write them with your finger in the sand pit,  make them with play dough!,  magnetic letters.
The most creative idea was....... (sorry parents) Write your tricky words in your mashed potato with a fork before gobbling them up!

WEET-BIX TRIATHLON!

OUR VERY OWN SPORTS STAR!

Our very own 'Jazzy' competed in the Weet-Bix Triathlon last weekend!
Despite having a crash on her bike, she used her Clifton Terrace 'Can do' attitude and persevered to the finish line! Well done Jazzy! we area ll so proud of your efforts!

In the weekend I went to the Weet-bix Triathlon, but I crashed into a car and hurt my chin!

I got up and finished happily.

I got a shimmery and shiny medal.

It is GOLD!
